Tem Noon: Percussion

Tem Noon has devoted himself to the tabla since 1980 at age19. By 1986, he was playing regularly with a few bands on the New England Coffee house circuit, and his primary band of the time, Rising Tide, expanded his repertoire to include the conga.

He facilitated drum circles, and performed his original music as well.  He returned to New York in 1997 he connected with several new communities starting with several Long Island drum circles and the world of kirtan. He started playing at open mics, performing original songs with Djembe.

He became attracted him to the Full Moon gatherings that started happening at the 27th St location of the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors where he encountered John Dubberstein and began to accompany him on tabla as a member of the Clear Light Ensemble.
